wide slat wooden blinds provide maximum privacy and light control
Mr blinds timber venetian blinds are available in 50mm wide slats. These wide slat venetians mimic the shutter look but without the shutter price tag. The white wooden blinds especially look like plantation shutters but at a much more economical price. The wide slats offer excellent light control as the wide slat means that we have fewer slats per blind. Because there are less slats there are therefore less breaks in the blind to let light through. Perfect for summer, if you tip the slats by 45 degrees our made to order wooden venetians can provide you with absolute daytime and nighttime privacy yet still allow light in and air to flow freely between the slats. We are one of the few in the market that feature a contemporary flat facia and simple rectangular wooden bottom rail. Our pull chord weights are also wooden not plastic. Made from sustainable basswood, our wooden venetians are available in two colours, matt white paint and natural honey wood. The wood slats are kiln dried and stabilised before the paint/varnish process to ensure they will not warp. The paint has a UV protective layer applied to it to ensure the colour will not fade. The honey varnished slats highlights the subtle natural grain of the basswood.easy care
