Below are some examples of recent commercial projects completed by Mr Blinds.
motorised roller blinds – meeting room privacy, real estate office
This unique commercial installation was completed for a busy real estate office that also operates as a café and art gallery, creating a vibrant and multifunctional workspace.
To provide privacy for the meeting room when required, motorised roller blinds were installed across the internal glass wall. At the touch of a button, the blinds can be lowered to create an instant privacy screen for client meetings and discussions.
When not in use, the blinds retract neatly to maintain the open feel of the space and allow the artwork and café environment to remain visible.

sunscreen roller blinds – commercial office installation, Māngere
This recent commercial installation in Māngere involved the supply and installation of 90 sunscreen roller blinds throughout the building.
Featured here is the building’s stylish staff lunchroom and breakout space, where the blinds help manage glare and heat while still allowing natural light to filter through the large windows.
The blinds are finished in Charcoal fabric with black controls, stainless steel chains and oval black bottom rails, creating a clean, modern look that complements the building’s contemporary interior design.

motorised roller blinds - Elim Christian Center
This impressive installation at Elim Christian Centre in Botany Downs involved motorised blockout roller blinds installed in a lofty atrium space.
Large glazed areas can often create excessive heat and glare, particularly in buildings designed to maximise natural light. These motorised blockout roller blinds provide effective control over light and temperature while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.
The motorised operation also allows the blinds to be easily controlled across the large window spans.

office boardroom vertical blinds
Boardrooms require a balance between professional presentation, privacy and flexible light control.
In this installation, vertical blinds were selected as they allow precise adjustment of light levels during presentations or meetings.
Vertical blinds are particularly well suited to:
- Large office windows
- Meeting rooms and boardrooms
- Conference rooms
- Training spaces
Their clean lines and practical operation make them a popular choice in both contemporary and traditional office environments.

sunscreen roller blinds – industrial style office
This office installation features dark sunscreen roller blinds which complement the industrial design of the workspace.
In offices with exposed concrete, steel and large windows, roller blinds provide a minimalist window covering solution that doesn’t compete with the architectural features of the space.
Sunscreen roller blinds are particularly effective for:
- Office workspaces
- Creative studios
- Technology offices
- Co-working environments
They reduce glare on computer screens while still allowing natural daylight to enter the space.

sheer S-wave curtains – Cachet Group Commercial Interiors
This striking installation was completed for a client of, and designed by Cachet Group Commercial Interior Design.
The space features our sheer S-Wave curtains in Chios Sable fabric, elegantly installed on a custom S-Wave curtain track that follows the sweeping shape of the breakout area.
The flowing lines of the curtains complement the curved seating and architectural elements of the space, creating a cohesive design that feels both modern and inviting.
Sheer curtains are an excellent choice for commercial interiors such as offices, breakout spaces and collaborative work areas because they:
- Soften natural light
- Provide subtle privacy
- Add texture and warmth to large spaces
- Enhance the overall interior design
This installation required careful planning and fabrication to meet the complex layout of the room, resulting in a beautifully finished space that balances function with strong design impact.

blockout roller blinds – Auckland office installation
Our team at Mr Blinds recently completed this sleek and highly functional installation of blockout roller blinds in a modern Auckland office.
Large office windows can be fantastic for natural light, but they can also create significant glare — particularly from the low winter sun. These blockout roller blinds provide an effective solution, allowing staff to control light levels and reduce screen glare throughout the day.
The clean, sharp lines of the blinds complement the modern interior while improving the overall comfort of the workspace.
Blockout roller blinds are a popular choice for:
- Office workspaces
- Boardrooms and meeting rooms
- Training rooms
- Presentation areas
By reducing glare and improving light control, they help create a more productive and comfortable working environment while maintaining a professional appearance.

sunscreen roller blinds – Riviera Marine floating pavilion, Westhaven Marina
A spectacular office view deserves the right window treatment.
This recent installation at the Riviera Marine Flagship Floating Pavilion in Westhaven Marina features our sunscreen roller blinds designed to reduce glare while still allowing the stunning marina outlook to remain visible.
Large areas of glazing can create significant glare and heat in office environments, particularly when overlooking reflective water surfaces. Sunscreen roller blinds provide an ideal solution, filtering harsh sunlight while maintaining clear outward visibility.
The result is a far more comfortable working environment without losing the incredible view of the beautiful Riviera launches moored outside.

commercial curtain installation – Western Springs Community Centre
This impressive installation at Western Springs Community Centre in Auckland demonstrates how large-scale curtains can transform a commercial space while still maintaining a clean, architectural look.
Installed on a wall-mounted curtain track, these full-height curtains feature a structured inverted pleat heading, creating crisp, uniform lines across the entire run of the room.
The curtains are made from Chesterfield Slate blackout fabric, providing excellent light control and helping the space adapt easily for performances, presentations, community events and other functions.
Key features of this installation include:
- Wall-fit curtain track
- Inverted pleat heading for a structured finish
- Chesterfield Slate blackout fabric
- Continuous curtain runs across the entire space
